Dear Uncle,

I write this letter with a bit of hope that is in me. I have that hope and do not faint because God has nourished me with His Word. It is with these Words i persevere and am writing to you today. I pray to God that you will seriously consider them and that you will get a clear guidance regarding the calling i have.

Back in 1998 God revealed His will to me through 1 Chronicles 22:11 to marry Anna. "Now my son, the LORD be with you and may you have success and build the house of the LORD your God, as He said you would." From this verse i understood God had granted me Anna to be my help and wife to build the house of the LORD. I was in that pursuit of building until last night when the Lord struck me with the verse that said that i am a man of war and shall not build the house of God. I got this verse even as i sought the Lord's will to apply for a scholarship to formally study the Word of God at a Bible College abroad. God reassured me that one of my sons (probably Clay), who will be the work of His hands, would build the house and sanctify His name (1 Chronicles 28:3; Isaiah 29:22-24). As for me, i was given instructions as unto a soldier: "Do not take money from anyone by force, or accuse anyone falsely, and be content with your wages" (Luke 3:14).

Today, even as i was contemplating on changing direction and pursue secular work abroad, God spoke to me again and said, "you must follow me" (John 21:22). I asked the Lord in what way i am not following Him. Then the Lord said, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. "Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! "And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. "For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors." (John 4:34-38) and "Keep watch over yourself and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood" (Acts 20:28). From all this, i understood that God wanted me to enter into the labors of others rather than start afresh, one on my own. I do not know how all this is going to happen. All that i know is that i am weak but He is strong and able. Anna and i want to share in His glory so we are willing to share in His suffering as co-heirs with Him. May God grant us His grace and His peace!

Prayerfully,

 Caleb Suresh Motupalli.
